Teen girl arrested for D.C. carjacking

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A 17-year-old girl has been arrested and charged in connection with an unarmed carjacking that occurred last month in Northwest Washington, leaving the victim injured.

The incident took place on Nov. 1 at approximately 12:40 a.m., when the suspects approached a victim seated in their vehicle in the 2500 block of Georgia Avenue. The suspects assaulted the victim, pulled them from the car, and fled the scene in the stolen vehicle. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The vehicle was later recovered by authorities.
