Bristol casino sees record revenue month after opening permanent site

BRISTOL, Va. (WJHL) — Bristol’s Hard Rock casino moved to its permanent location halfway through November — and has record monthly revenue to show for it.

Figures from the Virginia Lottery reported Friday that the casino made $18,072,828 in “adjusted gross revenue” (AGR, which represents money made after payouts) in November. That’s 11% higher than the previous record of $16.3 million set in March.

The slot machine AGR of $15.5 million was 17% above the previous record, but the take from table games, $2,569,551, was far below the prior high…
