GULFPORT/BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) – On Sunday, lane closures will be in place for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon from Henderson Point to Biloxi.
Crews will place cones from the beginning of the run at Henderson Point down Highway 90, separating the eastbound lanes and allowing runners in the right-hand lane and traffic in the left-hand lane. However, at the two starting points, Henderson Point (full marathon) and Jones Park in Gulfport (half marathon), both lanes will be closed briefly.
The first runners should arrive at DeBuys Road around 7:20 a.m. The northbound on-ramp to I-110 will be shut down for vehicle traffic as it will be part of the route…
