NASHVILLE, Tenn.–A convicted felon is back in jail after police say he was found with stolen handguns while wanted on warrants connected to an October shooting.
The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) reports convicted felon Rodney Haynes Jr. was wanted on warrants including felon in possession of a gun related to the Fain Street shooting in October of this year. Police found the 47-year-old inside a University Court apartment on Thursday night and when police arrived, he refused to leave the apartment. Officers made entry to the apartment and took Haynes into custody.
Inside, they found three handguns, two of which had been reported stolen. One was stolen in 2021 during a theft from a Dickerson Pike apartment and the second from the 1300 block of 2nd Avenue South in 2022…
