Connecticut firefighters stress Christmas tree safety

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WTNH) — The holidays are a special time of year to gather with loved ones. But it’s important to do so safely.

On Friday, there was a demonstration at the Connecticut Fire Academy in Windsor Locks. Using a trailer, firefighters showed the difference between a Christmas tree catching fire in a room with a sprinkler, and one without.
