This year’s Wilson County – Tennessee State Fair wins dozens of International Association of Fairs and Expos awards

WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Tennesseans aren’t the only ones who loved this year’s state fair. The beloved fair competed in the International Association of Fair and Expos ( IAFE ) and took home dozens of awards.

The fair competed against more than 2,000 entries from celebrations of all sizes based in the U.S., Canada, England and Australia. The IAFE represents more than 1,100 fairs worldwide. Winners were decided by fair industry professionals.

Overall, the Wilson County – Tennessee State Fair took home 32 awards across five categories, including seven first-place winners. In addition to three sponsorship awards, those first-place wins included:

  • Evolved program/exhibit at fair which promotes agriculture to the fair-going public for “The Farm to Table Dinner fundraiser for Blue Ribbon Youth Development”
  • Social media for “‘Fair Food Fantasy’ social media campaign
  • Printed promotional material specific to non-fair facility usage or rentals division for “Fiddlers Grove Historic Village 2024 Events Brochure”
  • Facility partnerships for working with “Absolute Kubota in Lebanon, TN”
