Floyd County High School’s Lady Buffaloes came oh, so, close to winning their first game of the 2024-25 basketball eason Friday night, but missed foul shots, a low shor percentage and turnovers thwarted their effoprt amd left the Alan J. Cantrdelll Court with a fifth straight loss, 47-44, and an 0-5 start in this young season.
The Lady Buffs closed in on the lead by Backsburg’s Bruins but then felll back beause of missed shots against a team that often stolle te ball and caputred most of the rebounds.
