SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a train in Oceanside Sunday afternoon, authorities confirmed.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to FOX 5/KUSI a pedestrian was hit and killed by a train on the railroad tracks near Mission Avenue and N Cleveland Street in Oceanside.
Dogs involved in Mira Mesa mauling death euthanized
First responders arrived at the scene around 12:33 p.m. Sunday and pronounced the pedestrian dead. Traffic in the area was impacted for a short time.
