CHESTERFIELD, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – The trial for Emanuel Bedford, charged with kidnapping and killing Pageland native Deidre Reid in 2021, will be continued into the new year.
Court proceedings were scheduled to begin on Dec. 16. Chesterfield County court records show attorneys filed several motions in the weeks prior challenging the jurisdiction and venue of the case.
Attorneys said a new trial date has not yet been set…
