ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A 25-year-old woman is recovering after being shot five times outside a metro Atlanta nightclub while celebrating her birthday.
Creona Merriweather was struck in the arm, chest and leg while walking up to the King of Diamonds Atlanta nightclub, according to her mother, Katrina Perry.
“I was probably like 15 feet behind them, and I heard the gunshot,” Perry said. “I just don’t even understand how it even happened. When I looked up, this young lady was shooting and shooting and shooting my child.”…
