After some suspense, worries of financial loss and opposition from medical freedom advocates, the city of Leesburg is still moving ahead with a water fluoridation project that the commission approved earlier this year (see our story from April below 👇).
The Leesburg Commission decided to proceed in a narrow 3-2 vote, acknowledging that the Florida surgeon general and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. , the national health secretary nominee chosen by President-elect Trump, have voiced their opposition to fluoridating water and may cause financial loss later if Kennedy were appointed and were to issue a federal ban.Kennedy, by the way, is under congressional review for the Trump administration Cabinet position governing our nation’s health.
