‘Punch in the gut’: At least 20 firearms stolen from Goodlettsville Gun Shop in latest smash-and-grab

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — For the second time this month, guns were stolen from a Middle Tennessee store in a brazen and coordinated fashion.

The Goodlettsville Gun Shop was broken into early Sunday morning after suspects backed a vehicle into the fortified front entrance, causing significant damage.

According to the shop’s owner, about 20 firearms were taken, marking the first time in the business’s 30 years that they’ve had a gun stolen.

“Very surprised, but it’s also humbling,” said Phillip Arrington, owner of Goodlettsville Gun Shop. “I know that when we rebuild, and we will rebuild, it’s going to be back better and tougher to get in.”…
