It’s time to unleash your inner comedian, Burqueños! The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is bringing back the Name a Snowplow Contest for its second year, and they want your help naming the state’s hardworking snowplows. Let’s give these winter warriors names that are as unique and inspired as our incredible state!
This year, 12 lucky winners will have their suggestions selected, celebrated statewide, and proudly displayed on snowplows across New Mexico!
These snowplows are critical in keeping our roads safe and our communities connected during winter. By naming them, you’re celebrating their role in your community and adding a touch of New Mexico flair to the fleet.
