Welcome rain fell across parts of North Texas on Monday afternoon and evening. A few showers could sneak in Tuesday night, and then a thin line of showers and storms will form overnight. After that, chilly mornings and cool afternoons will be the rule ahead of the start of winter on Saturday.
DFW Airport recorded 1.37″ of rain on Monday. Grapevine saw over 3 inches. Unfortunately, areas west of Interstate 35W didn’t see a drop. There is one more rain chance late Tuesday into early Wednesday morning.
