Retired Brigadier General Andrea Gayle-Bennett, local elected officials, veterans and family were among those taking part last Saturday in the ceremonial placing of wreaths at the graves of 474 Haverhill veterans.
For the eighth year, Haverhill’s Hope for Hilldale Cemetery participated in the national Wreaths Across America Day. Tammy Dobrosielski, co-location coordinator from the Hilldale Cemetery Association, oversaw the ceremonies.

To Remember those veterans and service members who have passed on, to Honor our living veterans and currently serving members of all armed forces and to Teach the value and the cost of our Freedoms.
