Eastern Mass murder case solved after 30 years

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WWLP) – An arrest has been made in a more than three-decade-old murder-for-hire case in eastern Massachusetts. The Middlesex District Attorney said Edward Watson has been arrested for the 1992 murder of Michelle Miller. According to the District Attorney’s office, Miller was the victim of a murder-for-hire plot and Watson killed her in a Cambridge basement at the request of her abusive boyfriend, Daniel Innis.

Heroin and cocaine found by Holyoke police at Pine and Dwight streets

Watson was arraigned on murder charges Monday and ordered held without bail. Innis died in 2012.
