Mother Sentenced for Kidnapping Daughter Without Custody

Andrea Latrice McCord, of Atlanta, was sentenced to five years in prison, without the possibility of parole, and 15 years probation for abducting her then-four-year-old daughter in April 2021, Cobb District Attorney Flynn Broady Jr. announced.

McCord, 36, pleaded guilty to kidnapping her daughter, without custody rights, from the home of her father, James Williams.

She then fled with her boyfriend, Custodio Guerra, and was later located with her daughter in Mexico following a two-year search by local and federal authorities, Broady said…
