Small pieces of the Willamette Valley’s bright, beautiful flora will zip across the world next year — adorning the corners of envelopes and packages as part of the U.S. Postal Service’s 2025 Forever Stamps collection.
The Postal Service’s “Dahlias” collection features 10 close-up photos of the flowers — nine of which were photographed at Oregon’s own Swan Island Dahlias. With nearly 50 acres of multi-colored flowers in more than 375 different varieties, the Canby farm calls itself the largest dahlia grower in the country.
An official release date for the stamp collection hasn’t been announced yet, but Oregonians can keep an eye on the Postal Service website once the New Year begins for updated information on issue date or location…
