CHICAGO – A 35-year-old Chicago woman with a history of mail theft was arrested in connection with a condo burglary and mail theft on the city’s Northwest Side, authorities said.
Ashley Taylor was arrested Dec. 18 after being identified as a suspect in an Aug. 15 burglary and mail theft, according to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. She was charged with one felony count of burglary.
Taylor was previously arrested by the Postal Inspection Service in April 2022 for mail theft from residential porches. She was charged with theft of mislaid property and convicted in September 2022.
