On December 19, 2024, the New Mexico State Police Crime Suppression Bureau gathered intelligence on the whereabouts of 43-year-old Daniel Romero, who was wanted for multiple violent felony warrants.
New Mexico State Police Crime Suppression Bureau and Uniform Bureau Officers arrived at a residence on 1040 Private Drive to apprehend Daniel Romero. With the assistance of the NMSP Tactical Team, Daniel Romero exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident. Romero was booked into the Rio Arriba County Detention Center on multiple warrants stemming from the following charges along with his failure to comply with conditions of probation:…
