Duck hunter suffers traumatic leg injury in Willard Bay accident

WILLARD, Utah — A duck hunter sustained a critical leg injury from a boat propeller in the northwest area of Willard Bay, according to the Willard City Fire Department.

Emergency responders, including Willard Fire & Rescue, Brigham ambulance, and Life Flight, were dispatched to the scene.

The incident occurred in the Willard Spur area, where the hunter’s right leg was broken and lacerated. A tourniquet was applied, and the patient was treated on-site before being flown to McKay-Dee Hospital, stated the source.
