NPUASTS and Tennessee DOT collaborate on system development

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) – The Northern Plains UAS Test Site (NPUASTS) and the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) announced a collaboration to develop a system like Vantis, North Dakota’s beyond-visual-line-of-sight system, in Tennessee. Vantis is North Dakota’s unmanned aircraft system beyond-visual-line-of-sight system and is the first of its kind in the United States. This plan aims to enhance its UAS program over the next few years.
