Police arrest suspect in stabbing near creek in Boulder

Police have arrested Darrell Nelson Persson, 32, in connection with a stabbing near Boulder Creek on Friday, according to a news release from the Boulder Police Department.

Witnesses reported Persson fleeing the area of the attack. Boulder Police Department officers arrested Persson at 8:40 p.m. on Friday. He was charged with first-degree assault, according to the news release.
