FDNY: Firefighter seriously injured in Staten Island house fire in Annadale

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A firefighter was injured in a house fire in Annadale on Saturday morning.

The injured FDNY member was transported to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The firefighter’s current condition is unknown, according to a spokesman for the FDNY/EMS.

The blaze was reported just before 9:57 a.m. in a two and a half story, 20-by-50-foot home at 111 Lenzie St. between Harold and Arden avenues, according to an FDNY spokesperson. The house is four blocks north of Hylan Boulevard…
