Pfau stars in U-Mary win over Bemidji State

Chloe Pfau has put in the work to improve, and the University of Mary women’s basketball team saw the latest example of that on Saturday.

Needing a spark to pull away from visiting Bemidji State, Pfau got hot in the second half and poured in 20 points to lead the Marauders to a 62-50 win over the Beavers.

“It was a true finals week game, we were a little sloppy at times, we missed a lot of shots around the rim we normally make, but we made enough plays and played well enough on the defensive end (to win),” Marauders head coach Rick Neumann said. “Every year when you get to the last game before break, just winning is the goal so we can get on to enjoying time with family and friends.”…
