Ben Beddoes’ Forecast | Temperatures improve some leading into the Christmas holiday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Clear skies will be around this evening as it will be very cold again, with temperatures falling into the 20s. Clear skies will continue to be with us overnight as lows will be very cold, in the low to mid-20s, and wind chills in the teens.

Plenty of sunshine will be with us to start Monday as temperatures climb into the 30s by mid-morning. We will keep the sunshine around for the day, with some clouds arriving late afternoon. Temperatures will still be chilly but improved as we see highs in the upper 40s to low 50s. Clouds will continue to come as we go into the evening and overnight, with a stray shower, possibly after midnight. Lows Monday night will be down into the low to mid-30s across southern and southeastern Kentucky and in the upper 30s to around 40 degrees in northern and central Kentucky.

Christmas Eve will feature cloudy skies throughout the day with the chance of a stray shower. It will be another chilly day with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Southern and southeastern Kentucky areas may rise into the low 50s for highs. Cloudy skies will be around for the evening, with overnight clouds and a stray shower. Lows for Christmas Eve will be in the low to mid-30s across southern and southeastern Kentucky and in the mid to upper 30s across northern and central Kentucky…
