Stoneham Fire Department battles two-alarm blaze amid freezing temperatures

The Stoneham Fire Department battled a two-alarm structure fire amidst the freezing-cold temperatures on Sunday.

Fire crews were dispatched around 1:35 p.m. to 39 Tamarock Terrace when a caller alerted authorities of a fire inside their home.

Upon arrival, heavy fire was pouring from the garage of the home, which prompted the two residents to evacuate on their own. The fire then spread into the attached home.
