A warming trend during the Christmas holiday week ahead

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – As high-pressure slides northeast, northeasterly winds will usher in a few clouds into the early hours on Monday. However, temperatures will remain cold in the 30s. Temperatures remain cool Monday afternoon with highs back in the 50s.

A warm-up is on the way into the Christmas holiday as lows on Tuesday morning warm up closer to the average in the low 40s. Rain chances are low, but not zero as Atlantic moisture moves in. Cloud cover will stick around on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. However, clouds move out later in the day on Tuesday, leading to a possible warm-up in temperatures to the low 60s with lows in the 40s. Christmas Day features plenty of cloud cover with highs in the mid-60s. Rain chances are minimal on Christmas Day, but not zero.

Highs and lows will keep rising into the weekend toward the 70s for highs and lows in the 40s. Rain chances return next Sunday…
