FORT WORTH, Texas — A 34-year-old man has been sentenced to 17 years in federal prison for selling fentanyl to an 18-year-old girl who died of an overdose. Ladraelyn Bolar, of Fort Worth, Texas, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl, according to the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas.
Bolar was charged in April and admitted to conspiring with others to distribute fentanyl, as stated in plea papers. He sold blue M-30 pills containing fentanyl to an undercover ATF agent on March 25, 2024, after being introduced by a confidential informant. The transaction took place in a Fort Worth parking lot, where Bolar sold 100 pills for $250, or $2.50 per pill.
