Fentanyl, meth seized during Troy narcotics search warrant

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Officers executing a search warrant at a Troy home last week allegedly discovered illegal narcotics as well as marijuana, according to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials executed a narcotics search warrant in the 900 block of Garfield Avenue in Troy on Dec. 20. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the warrant occurred due to a “several months long investigation” involving alleged trafficking of drugs.

During the search warrant on the home, the Sheriff’s Office alleges the following were located and siezed:

  • fentanyl
  • marijuana
  • methamphetamine
  • pills
  • scales

The Sheriff’s Office also claims “several baggies” of alleged narcotics were reportedly found, which were believed to be “packaged for sale.”…
