LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Salvation Army has partnered with Walmart to launch a holiday meal program aimed at supporting families in need throughout the Las Vegas area.
Major Harold Laubach Jr., Divisional Secretary for Clark County and The Salvation Army Southern Nevada, said the initiative allows customers to donate meals to families in need while shopping for the holidays. “A $5 meal for customers and an option to donate holiday meals to families in need is available at Walmart.com/holidaymeal through Dec. 24,” he said.
In addition to the meal program, the Salvation Army is also encouraging donations through their Red Kettle campaign. Contributions can be made via kettles outside stores or by rounding up online purchases throughout December…
