Nonprofit steps up to aid displaced families in the wake of a devastating apartment fire in Asbury Park

ASBURY PARK, N.J. — The Asbury Park Police Department expressed gratitude on Monday for the efforts of “We Are Loved,” a local nonprofit organization, We Are Loved, in aiding families affected by a recent apartment fire that left several residents displaced.

Led by volunteer Phyllis and her team, the organization worked through the weekend to collect and donate essential items to assist the victims. These donations are part of a larger citywide relief effort, which includes support from the City of Asbury Park and the United Fellowship Baptist Church.
