BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) – Today’s temperatures were a big improvement from the weekend’s, breaking well out of the below freezing temperatures. We also got to see some sunshine, but the sun will go back into hiding for the next few days. Overnight tonight, a low-pressure system tracking east will swing some wintry precipitation into the area. Many lowland areas may see rain or a rain/snow mix, while mountains will see snow. Any snow that falls will not accumulate to more than an inch, even in highest elevations. The vast majority of this precipitation will fall between about 2-8am, though some lingering moisture could mean freezing drizzle in the higher elevations.
