FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WBOY) — Christmas is right around the corner, and while many will be spending time with friends and family, it’s important to remember the animals who will be spending their holiday in shelters.
On Monday, a group of volunteers made sure that the animals at the Marion County Humane Society were able to enjoy a home-cooked Christmas dinner. The humane society has around 30 dogs and 50 cats, all of which were able to enjoy turkey, green beans, pumpkin and pup cups for dessert.
