CAPE MAY COUNTY, New Jersey (WJW) – Police detectives are investigating have a body was found in a New Jersey state forest over the weekend.
New Jersey State Police told People and other media outlets that the body was found inside an abandoned refrigerator in the Belleplain State Forest of Cape May County on Sunday.

Dennis Township Mayor Zeth Matalucci released a statement on the township’s Facebook page on Sunday, saying, in part, “NJSP are actively investigating a body that was found out in the woods in Belleplain. There’s no threat to the public.”
