FAIRFAX, Va. — One pup is safe and sound Tuesday morning after being rescued from a freezing creek.
Fairfax Fire Department received a call that a dog had fallen into the Accotink Creek just before 6:30 p.m. When they arrived, fire crews found the dog stuck in the freezing water.
Rescuers were able to quickly lift the dog out of the water. He was brought to a local vet and a Fairfax Fire spokesperson says he is expected to be OK, once he warms up…
