MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A man accused of burglarizing a laundromat in Meriden was arrested, police said.
Brandon Scozzari, 32, was arrested and charged with burglary in the third degree, larceny in the sixth degree, carrying a dangerous weapon and use of drug paraphernalia.
According to police, at around 12:26 a.m. on Saturday, police were dispatched to a laundromat on Liberty Street for the report of the burglary alarm. The complainant told police that a worker left the door unlocked when he left for the night.

Police said when they reviewed security camera footage, the suspect arrived at the front door of the business at around 12:15 a.m. in a black mountain bike. The man was then seen entering the business, walking through the isles and attempting to open the coin slots on the coin machines. The man was also seen hitting the machine with an object multiple times.
