Family and friends move from Christmas to New Year

A final few holiday traditions remain in St. Tammany

BALLOONS: Families wanting its members of all ages to celebrate New Year’s Eve together can do so at the Children’s Museum of St. Tammany’s Noon Year’s Eve Bash on Dec. 31. This has been an annual event since 2018, but this year will be the first time it takes place in the museum’s roomy new location at 813 Florida St. in Pelican Plaza in Mandeville. The party is from 10 a.m. to noon.

It will include a hot chocolate bar; cotton candy spinning; face painting and face glitter; a DJ and glow dance party.
