A duo accused of a home burglary in Carlsbad, while the homeowner was out of town, has been arrested following a multi-agency investigation. The Carlsbad Police Department reported on social media that the suspects were apprehended after committing a string of burglaries.
According to the post, the ordeal began on November 15, when the homeowner received an alarming notification from his security cameras displaying two individuals decked out in his backyard in hoodies, gloves, and bandanas. This pair later managed to forcefully gain entry by breaking through a second-story door. Among the loot were luxury handbags, $10,000 in cash, and sensitive documents from an unsecured safe, including passports and Social Security cards.
