A small school district straddling the Fresno County border put the oft-mentioned saying of “every vote matters” to the test this election by passing a $20 million bond measure — by a single vote.
The Kingsburg Joint Union High School District’s Measure K school bond, which came before voters in three counties in the Nov. 5 election, failed by a margin of four votes in the initial election results.
