A 23-year-old Bremerton man was arrested Monday night on suspicion of vehicular assault and reckless driving after a motorcycle crash on Highway 3 near Poulsbo sent one man to the hospital.
Two motorcycles, one driven by the suspect and another driven by a 22-year-old man with a Wichita, Kansas, address, according to a Washington State Patrol incident report, were speeding while driving south on Highway 3 around 6:30 p.m.
As the 22-year-old man began to slow his motorcycle near where the highway passes Sherman Hill Road, the suspect’s motorcycle crashed into the victim, causing the man to lose control of the motorcycle. The victim was thrown from his motorcycle and landed on the cable barrier on the left shoulder of the highway.
