Ohio Consumers’ Counsel warns against deceptive energy marketers

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Office of the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel (OCC) is urging residents to be cautious of deceptive practices by some energy marketers.

These marketers, often contacting residents through flyers or door-to-door visits, promise significant savings on electricity and gas bills by switching suppliers.
