Valley traditions bring crowds to local markets

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – Santa’s job may start tonight, but some of the pre-Christmas work getting ready for all those holiday parties and dinners started around 5 a.m. at Rulli Brothers Market in Boardman to be ready when customers arrived at 9.

“A lot of the rush happens early. That’s when all the people are coming and then they’re getting their last-minute items,” Mark Rulli said.

For many, it means seafood — both fresh and already prepared for that celebration known as the “Feast of the Seven Fishes.”…
