( KRON ) – More than 50 San Francisco small businesses will receive over $350,000 in funding grants between them from the San Francisco Shines Storefront Improvement Program, Mayor London N. Breed announced Monday.
This program provides new and existing small businesses with up to $10,000 in grant funds. The funding is meant to aid in storefront improvements and equipment purchases, which the city says assist in reducing vulnerability to crime, attracting foot traffic and ensuring compliance with city requirements.”
Breed referred to the city’s small businesses as the center of what drives SF’s economy.
