NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are investigating after a person was shot and killed in New Haven Tuesday night.
Police said a 44-year-old man from New Haven was shot on Edgewood Avenue at around 8:15 p.m. Later, Police updated the incident as a homicide investigation.

911 calls came in around 8:08 p.m. on a possible shooting. Police said they knew it was some sort of argument between two people they believed knew each other. The suspect pulled out a gun and began firing at the victim.
