DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — At the start of the new year, the minimum wage for workers in Ohio is going up by 10 cents an hour for tipped employees such as servers in restaurants.
College students and other part-time employees say the increase will make a difference during the times when customers are less likely to leave tips. However, industry experts said the cost of the increase could be passed along to customers.
