SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION-TV) — It is a story that is certain to warm your heart on this Christmas. A dog was seen wondering Highway 1 in Santa Cruz Wednesday morning. CHP officers jumping into action to help save the pup.
The CHP in Santa Cruz calling this one a “special operation.” The dog was seen running in the middle of Highway 1 near Morrissey Blvd, according to officers. At one point, the dog was even seen standing on the concrete divider.
