Lunenberg Man Initially Charged With State Crimes, Facing Federal Charges

BOSTON, MA.- On Monday, a 37-year-old Lunenburg, Massachusetts, man who is a Level One registered sex offender already in custody on Massachusetts State child pornography offenses was arrested and charged federally for Possession of Child Pornography.
Myers, who was initially arrested on December 17, 2024, and is in state custody on related offenses, made his first appearance on Monday, December 23, 2024, in U.S. Federal Court in Boston, Massachusetts, and was ordered detained pending trial by U.S. District Court Judge David H. Hennessy.
According to U.S. Attorney Joshua S. Levy and charging information filed in the federal complaint, law enforcement investigators obtained and executed a court-authorized search warrant at Myers’ residence.
