The Haverhill High School Class of 1979 recently celebrated its 45th year reunion, but the event also marked a reunion of another sort—the gathering of four current or past elected Haverhill officials from the class of 550 students.
Class President and former Mayor John J. Guerin Jr. joined with current Haverhill City Council President Thomas J. Sullivan and past Councilors Kenneth E. Quimby and Michael P. Young. They were among 95 classmates to attend.
Guerin open the reunion, taking place Nov. 30 at Maria’s Galleria Banquet Room in Haverhill, by thanking classmates, family and friends who wear, or have worn, military or first responder uniforms…
