Skidding Steelers Losing Shot at AFC North Title in Final Weeks

“That sucked, to be blunt,” Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said after the embarrassing 29-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day.

He’s not lying. But that’s to be expected anytime the Steelers line up against Patrick Mahomes, who is now 4-0 against Pittsburgh with 17 touchdowns and just one interception.

The Steelers are now 0-3 in their last three games against playoff powerhouses Kansas City, Baltimore and Philadelphia. And the games weren’t close.

Pittsburgh lost each game by at least two touchdowns and is now in danger of starting a playoff run on the road after giving up a two-game lead in the division that it enjoyed just three weeks ago…
